Gina Fords Book

Ok this is not fun anymore - I was up 5 times last night 1, 2.30, 4, 5 and 6 .30. I am truly a walking zombie.

We went to my friends 30th last Friday and we were introduced to this couple who also had a baby 3 months ago. I asked the girl how she was coping with the night adventures as she told me that her little girl sleeps 12 hours !!!!!! - can you imagine? How lucky is that? Don’t get me wrong I am so happy with my child but I just WISH he could sleep for at least 5 hours :(

Anyway, she told me she got herself this GINA FORD book and introduced her little treasure to this routine that Gina suggests, and that since then her little girl sleeps for longer. I heard about this woman a few weeks ago, she was even on the BBC news. Some people say she runs the house like a NATZI but I am going to try it.

So, I will start reading it tonight and in a week or so I will write on the progress - if there is any. I am attaching the most recent photo of my little dude.

Polish visitors

It feels like months have been packed into the last four weeks. Truly a full time job with this little one. The washing is piling up upstairs and I was forced to wear my swimming costume yesterday because I have run out of my underwear :) - it was quite funny actually.

I had my parents coming from Poland to see Leon. They stayed for 10 days and I got enormous help which I needed. I was able to rest at night because mum would take him to her bedroom for the nights. She also cooked and my Dad would repaired stuff around the house. He put lovely spot lights in the kitchen and a light in the back garden.

It was great waking up together and having someone to talk to. It was great for Leon too because they would go for 3 hour walks with him nearly everyday.

I am back on my own again and missed them so much. My heart truly goes out to the single mothers.
